I'm Craig, an urban artist based in the vibrant city of Manchester. My journey into art was a departure from the confines of the design world, where I became disillusioned and sought a more authentic expression of creativity. It was in the raw energy of street art that I found my true passion.
Drawn to the decay of advertising billboards and the raw authenticity of the streets, I discovered a medium that resonated deeply with me. I embraced the imperfections, the weathered textures, and the stories embedded in the urban landscape, finding inspiration in the layers of decay and transformation.
Screen-printing became my medium of choice, allowing me to capture the essence of the streets and infuse my work with a sense of raw energy. Through a process of collaging and ripping back layers, I uncover new narratives, revealing glimpses of beauty amidst the chaos.
